Not to be confused with Channel 4's Food Unwrapped, The Food Hospital returns for a brand new series, and this time dietician Lucy Jones, consultant Shaw Somers, GPs Gio Miletto, and Pixie McKenna, are using food to try to tackle an even greater array of common illnesses, from acne and eczema, insomnia and arthritis, to epilepsy and ADHD. Among those seeking help are a four-year-old boy with atopic eczema and a Wirral woman who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, while Pixie meets Andrew Jones of the University of Exeter, who is running an experiment to investigate claims that eating beetroot can aid sporting performances.
