From the Meaning of Life with Gay Byrne (10.20pm, RTE1 - he's waxing all sorts with Oscar-winning writer and director Neil Jordan - who once hijacked my taxi in Dalkey and failed to pay a penny once we dropped him off to Sorrento Terrace. Clearly still bitter) to this... It's a documentary, which originally made it's debut screened at the launch of D-Light Studio in February, is produced by "male models turned film-makers" Eoin Macken and Carl Shaaban. Their aim; to explore the fashion industry in Ireland. Surprisingly, it's on for an hour. The film was reportedly inspired by Macken's younger sister, who "always talking about having designs on being models. And they've been sucked into this MTV thing and don't really understand anything about what fashion actually involves". Featuring contributions by designer Helen Cody, model agency heads Eddie Shanahan and Rebecca Morgan, as well as international models Alison Canavan and Laragh McCann.
