The BAFTA's are pretty much Britain's answer to the Oscars, and generally they are as good an insight as the Golden Globes are, for who is going to bag the ultimate crown of the Academy Award. The ceremony is divided into two nights, with tonight commemorating the best of the best in the cinema world this last year. Stephen Fry will be hosting the big event, which will see some tough competition go head to head for the major gongs. One person certain of going home with a trophy, however, is Helen Mirren - the winner of this year's Bafta Fellowship. Fair play to ya Helen! That lady can do no wrong these days. Greatest thing about the BAFTA's awards night? It's actually on at reasonable hour. so nobody has to sit up pinning their eyes open through a long winded ceremony to find out who the winners are. So pop the kettle on, and enjoy a bit of Hollywood style before you call it quits on the weekend.
