Last year, 20-year-old Michael Stanford went to a Donald Trump political rally and attempted to assassinate the now President of the United States. The young man, who has Asperger's Syndrome, tried to grab a police officer's gun with the intention of killing Trump, because "he is a racist", he said after. Stanford was stopped and arrested on the spot and has since been serving time in prison. This documentary follows his family as they travel to the US for his sentencing, and uses eyewitness accounts and archive footage to piece together the sequence of events and looks at what may have led Michael to such dire actions.
