The UK has Europe's highest number of obese kids - with one in every six children affected. And at the opposite end of the scale, the number of children with anorexia has almost doubled in the last decade. Over four consecutive nights this week Supersize vs Superskinny returns with a campaign tackling the nation's over and under weight kids. Dr Christian Jessen and dietician Ursula Philpot work with parents and their children to deliver lifesaving nutritional advice. Kicking off the mini series is 15-year-old Ieuan Rosser, who weighs 17 stone, and his mum Kay, and 13-year-old Jess, who weighs six and a half stone, and her dad Dave. Ieuan consumes a shocking 4000 calories a day while super-fussy Jess's dad Dave is urged to finally put his foot down when it comes to his daughter's unhealthy diet. Dr Christian delivers the first of four hard-hitting lectures to groups of junk-loving school kids explaining the strain eating too much, or too little, puts on the heart. Continues tomorrow.
