A brand new dystopian drama kicks off tonight on BBC1, not unlike the premise of The Man in the High Castle - if you have seen/read that - and it is based on the 1978 book by Len Deighton. Basically, it's set in a world where Germany won the Battle of Britain in World War II and have gone on to occupy the UK. Set in 1941, it stars Sam Riley as Detective Douglas Archer, who is forced to work under the brutal SS but is determined to continue to do his job in the service of his country. However, what appears to be a simple black market murder leads Archer down a dark and treacherous road, with an elusive American journalist Barbara Barga (Kate Bosworth) seeming to hold the key. Written by Bafta Award-winners Neal Purvis and Robert Wade (Spectre, Skyfall, Casino Royale), this promising new thriller also stars James Cosmos of Game of Thrones and, eh, Celebrity Big Brother fame (we still don't get why he did that).
