Seamus Heaney was just a bit of a legend, wasn't he? And in the original sense of the word, at that. The famous poet, who sadly passed away last August, has been referred to as the most important Irish poet since Yeats. This doc was originally made in 2009 and had Heaney's full collaboration. It takes a look back at the poet's life and work, focusing in on key periods including his childhood in Mossbawn, as well as the important relationships in life. Should be a good watch, even if you may only know him from Leaving Cert English.
