Dermot Bannon comes to the aid of two childhood sweethearts (they met when they were, get this, 13…) from Enniskerry who are hoping to revamp their bungalow on a budget of €90,000 euros. Eimear Lynott and Niall Quinn are both 30 and due their first baby in June. Niall owns his own barber shops in Arklow and Stillorgan and Eimear supplies ladies underwear to a major Irish retailer. The couple have lived in their bungalow in Enniskerry since they got married six years ago (the house originally belonged to Eimear's mum and dad who have since moved to Wexford). Almost everything about this 1970s abode is wrong; it's ugly, old, cold and dark; however, it does has one major redeeming feature, an amazing view of the Sugarloaf which at the moment is not exploited from the house at all. With a budget of €90,000 there's a lot to be done; alongside the basics like insulation, heating and re-plumbing, Eimear and Niall want a home bar and entertainment area. You know, for the baby.
