Last season, Munster barely made it into the Pro12 top 6. This year they finished top of the table and secured a home semi-final with a round to spare. It's been quite the journey. The men in red are still hurting from their Champions Cup defeat Saracens and will not want to lose two semi-finals in one season. Munster legend Donnacha Ryan is playing his last game in Thomand Park, he'll be determined to sign off with a win.
Ospreys have a strong squad, capable of pulling off the upset, and they'll be boosted by the return of Lions second row and team captain Alun Wyn Jones. However, their recent form has been poor. They've lost five of their last seven games, while Munster have lost just five games all season.
Munster are favourites, and should get the job done, unless emotion and the occasion get the better of them.
