This documentary shows what it is like to be a prisoner’s child. Often the perspective of children with parents in prison is neglected. This is worrying as the numbers of children with a mother or father in prison is growing. These children are often bullied. Filmmaker Catey Sexton reveals how prisoners' children are twice as likely to suffer from poor mental health, while two out of three boys with a dad in prison go on to offend themselves. A number of individual cases are looked at, and the film strongly argues for children to be given greater support than is currently available.
Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi narrates.
