Warwick Davis regales us with quite an extraordinary tale this evening, as he recounts the wartime experience of the Ovitzes, a Jewish family of travelling musicians who survived imprisonment in Auschwitz. Seven of the ten brothers and sisters were dwarfs, who suffered at the hands of the Angel of Death himself, infamous Nazi doctor Josef Mengele. Warwick wants to find out how they survived, and patch together the the tale of their return home to Romania on foot, after they were released from a Russian refugee camp.
