We've come to the end of Paul O'Grady's second term at Battersea, and they've certainly saved a real tearjerker for us. A nine-year-old Doberman with a few health issues arrives into the centre tonight, and the comedian discovers that its owner has died. It'll be hard to rehome this poor old soul. Meanwhile there's a rather playful beagle to deal with, and a heavily pregnant and extremely nervous labrador cross looks set for a complicated labour... We always chop onions while watching this one.
