If you love animals as much as Paul O’Grady does, then this programme is sure to be a delight. Having previously presented Animal Orphans and the award-winning For the Love of Dogs, O’Grady’s latest series sees him travel to India for the first time with the intention of rehabilitating some of the country's vulnerable wild animals. His first stop is an elephant sanctuary south of Delhi, where he meets Lakshmi – an obese elephant. Later, he meet Mohan, who spent over 50 years chained up, a very upsetting sight, but he cheers up the rescued elephant by giving him a pedicure. In Assam, nine orphaned baby rhinos also need his help.
