For our money, No Country For Old Men is the best of the Coen Brothers' filmogrpahy, short of Fargo, The Big Lebowski and maybe O Brother Where Art Thou. Javier Bardem gives one of his greatest performances as the inhuman Anton Chigurh, a ruthless assassin sent out to recover a case full of money that's discovered by Josh Brolin. The two engage in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse across the wastelands of Texas. Stellar suppporting performances by Tommy Lee Jones, Woody Harrelson and Kelly MacDonald, No Country For Old Men comes highly recommended. Call it, friendo.
