For our money, the first Mission: Impossible was the best of the bunch. Directed by Brian DePalma and had a cracking supporting cast in Jon Voight, Emmanuelle Beart, Henry Czerny and Jean Reno. The plot was also suitably complicated, much like the original TV series, and has one of the best train-fight sequences we've ever seen. The CGI still stands up to scrutiny, especially when you consider this film was made all the way back in 1995. Red light! Green light!
