In this programme, the eight remaining MasterChef Ireland contestants take on the intricacies of pastry as they are given a masterclass by renowned Chef Roger Pizey and have to recreate one of his signature desserts. The following day they will serve afternoon tea in the Lord Mayor's Lounge at the iconic Shelbourne hotel, under the instruction of head chef Garry Hughes. This is pastry at the highest level and the eight remaining MasterChef hopefuls will have to prove they are up to the challenge if they want to make it through to the next round. Some will excel but some contestants have an absolute nightmare in this task. And the pressure is on as another elimination looms at the end of this round.
