There is something altogether very comforting about watching Mary Berry cook, and let's face it, we all need a bit of comfort on a Monday evening. The food writer and Great British Bake Off judge will be showing us how to cater for a large gathering of guests at a special occasion, that doesn't just involve some Pringles and a bit of dip. She'll be preparing a whole range of dishes for a buffet supper, including beef and mushroom stew with mustard mash, salmon en croute with salad, chocolate and orange panna cotta, and a meringue tranche with berries and cream. All sounds very complicated, hopefully she'll make it easy though, and sure if not, isn't there a lot to be said for a few bowls of Doritos.
