Shanna Bukhari, a 26-year-old self-proclaimed 'Modern British Muslim' who once entered the Miss Universe pageant, sets out to discover why they are forgoing their freedom to party, drink and dress as they please to convert to a religion some people associate with the oppression of women. Shanna follows the highs and lows of five women - including a top model, a former Club Rep, a tattooed self-confessed former wild child - as they embrace their new faith.
