This new series sees chefs Derry Clarke, Catherine Fulvio and Paul Flynn presenting a guide to historical cooking. In the first episode, they visit Birr Castle in County Offaly, which is home to the Earl of Rosse, and make a meal using recipes drawn from a handwritten 17th-century cookbook, including a potato pie first prepared in 1666.
