2.00pm - Pool: C Argentina vs Tonga
Kick-Off 2.30pm
Leicester City Stadium

This is really just a warm-up for the big game of the day, but with both teams chasing the pool C runner-up spot, it should be a tense, hard fought battle. The winner of this game is a potential quarter-final opponent for Ireland, so it will be a good opportunity to sketch out the competition. The second half will be shown on 3e.

3.20pm - Pool D: Ireland vs Italy
Kick-Off 4.45pm
Olympic Stadium, London

As Joe Schmidt said after the Romania game, Ireland's World Cup starts here. Last February, Ireland beat Italy in the opening game of their successful 6 Nations campaign and they'll be looking to replicate that victory today. A win would be good, a bonus point win would be better; a bonus point win with no serious injuries is what we're all hoping for. Italy's inspirational captain Sergio Parisse returns to the team following injury, and will attempt to lead them to the upset.
