After a bad week for both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola, a Manchester derby in the EFL Cup is something either man could have done without. Although Manchester City are still top of the Premier League, they've now gone five games without a win, a run which included an embarrassing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Barcelona. Such a run would normally make Mourinho relish this fixture with glee but his own house is out of sorts too. Man United have been blowing hot and cold ever since losing to Manchester City in the Premier League, culminating in Sunday's spanking away to Chelsea. Mourinho's back is against the wall as suddenly a Mourinho led United doesn't look all that much better than a Van Gaal or even a David Moyes managed United. If Mourinho is going to turn things around then there's no better place to do it than against the local rivals. (Kick Off: 8pm)
