On a Saturday instead of its usual Friday night, this is the extended version of Tuesday's live show in what was the opening episode of this latest season of Jools Holland's iconic music show, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. The pianist is joined by Liam Gallagher and his band as they perform songs from his solo album, As You Were. Also on the show, the reformed LCD Soundsystem deliver tunes from their latest album, ahead of their three nights at the Olympia Theatre which we now know was a huge success, while there will also be performances from North Londoner Benjamin Clementine, Walsall act Jorja Smith, and New Zealand singer-songwriter Nadia Reid sings a tune from her album, Preservation. Also, lyricist Jimmy Webb discusses his new memoir, The Cake and the Rain.
