Back in the day, going to an Irish Dancing feis might involve a few curls in the hair and the fancy dress if you were extremely lucky. It's a whole different world out there now though, with makeup, fake tan and the lot of it all thrown in. Tonight's episode will focus in on the O'Briens, a traveller family from Wicklow, who overcome prejudice and tradition to make their mark in the world of Irish dance. The new documentary series will also look at world of Irish dancing nowadays, and the new directions it has taken since River Dance brought it to an international stage twenty years ago. Yes, you read that right, TWENTY years since River Dance. Madness.
