While Jim Sheridan has made some classics in his time (My Left Foot, In The Name of the Father), few have come close to the sheer sweetness of this 2002 production. An Irish couple up sticks and move to New York, taking their two young daughters with them. Facing the kind of struggles you'd expect from such a life altering experience, this beautifully character driven production features some superb performances, with Paddy Considine's Irish accent the best we've ever heard. We may have thought he was from Rathmines, not England..
