If you’re up late (or early, as the case may be) anyway, you should check out this ten minute-long Irish short film from writer-director Damien O’Donnell (East is East, Inside I’m Dancing, Heartlands). Eileen Walsh (The Magdalene Sisters, Pure Mule, Catastrophe) stars as a woman who is excited about the approaching birth of her first child. The short won a number of national and international awards including Best Narrative Short at SXSW in Texas, Best Irish Short at the Foyle Film Festival, and the Silver Dragon Best Director award at the Krakow Film Festival for Damien O’Donnell.
