The hotel with the Babylons is back in business tonight. Well. Theoretically speaking. Hotel Babylon is due to close down and Juliet Miller, nicknamed "The Undertaker" by the gang, has been appointed by management to oversee its demise, as the drama set in a five-star hotel returns for a new series. In a last-ditch attempt, Tony desperately pitches Babylon to a wealthy Asian businessman, whose daughter is meeting a Bollywood star and her future husband for the first time in an elaborate introduction ceremony at the hotel. However, the deal goes into freefall when Tony refuses to meet his demands. To top it all, a terrorist threat in London brings the city to a standstill and some stranded airline passengers bound for the airport seek refuge in the hotel. Former EastEnder Nigel Harman joins the cast. At 10.35pm, Ross is joined by Big Brother presenter Davina McCall (who will simultaneously present an eviction show over on Channel 4), actor Matthew Fox (star of the hit American drama Lost), and comedy duo David Mitchell and Robert Webb.
