Docu-drama marking the 70th anniversary of the day the world's first atomic bomb was detonated above the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. It will chart the the political and social impact of the nuclear attack and will be based on facts drawn from survivors' testimony, official documents and interviews. The film recreates the horror of the explosion and builds a detailed account of the reasons behind the decision to drop the bomb. It's also got legendary British actor John Hurt narrating.
