As has become customary of a Saturday, the comedian/certified GP takes a novel look at the week's small-screen highlights, subjecting the latest soap sagas, reality shows, documentaries and other assorted oddities to his unique brand of scrutiny through his collection of TV clips. Before subjecting yourselves to Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Panto (7.45pm, UTV. Franz Ferdinand are performing, surely a highpoint for them), catch 15 glorious minues of The Genius of Photography over on BBC2 (or you could record it, it starts at 7.00pm). Tonight's edition looks at how photographers dealt with the dramatic and tragic events of World War Two, including D-Day, the Holocaust and Hiroshima. Magnum legends Philip Jones Griffiths and Susan Meisalas, soldier-photographer Tony Vaccaro and broadcaster Jon Snow consider the questions extraordinary pictures raise about history, as seen through the viewfinder.
