If you really want to warp your mind, you can kick off Saturday night with Saw, at 10.00pm on Channel 4, followed by this 1978 John Carpenter classic, and then round off your horrorfest with Robin Hardy's Christopher Lee vehicle, The Wicker Man at 2.40am on UTV. If, however, you are on speaking terms with your brain, might we suggest you give Saw a miss and start your evening with homicidal madman, Michael Myers. He escapes from a state mental institution 15 years after murdering his sister and goes on a killing spree in his home town, with a melancholy psychiatrist in hot pursuit, determined to prevent him claiming more lives. Carpenter's horror, stars Donald Pleasence, PJ Soles, a very annoying Nancy Loomis, and an incredible young Jamie Lee Curtis.
