This music documentary series is proving a very interesting watch of a Friday, and I know it's often been said, but we really do have a shed load of talent on these shores of ours. Tonight, Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh looks at songs on the subject of unrequited love, and asks why the Irish soul is arguably not vocal about romance until love slips from our grasp. A sad, but fair point really. Helping her answer this and singing a few tunes will be award winning (and extremely talented) acts Delorentos, Karan Casey, Gemma Hayes, and Jimmy Kelly, as well sean-nos singers from Connemara, Roisin Elsafty and Treasa Ni Cheannabhain.
