At long last the much anticipated Gogglebox Ireland has arrived. The UK version has become a smash hit for Channel 4 since its launch back in 2013, even going on to win a BAFTA. For those that haven't seen it, the series is essentially about watching people watch TV. It's all very meta. It may sound like a simple enough premise, but it makes for a very entertaining watch, and given how much Irish people love giving out about what's on the telly, we'd imagine it will prove as popular over here. It also has the talented Deirdre O'Kane and Mrs Brown's Boys star Rory Cowan on commentating duties, who are both perfect choices, so let's hope this manages to live up to expectation.
