The fourth series of Friday Night Dinner is back with a clatter (because that’s what plates do, geddit?). The British sitcom follows the Goodmans, a Jewish family who gather around for Shabbat dinner every weekend to catch up and host some eccentric guests.

This week, Dad has accidentally asked someone he used to hate to the Goodmans’ house for dinner. When the man’s annoying habit starts to get to Dad, he becomes determined to get rid of him. The new series will also see younger son Jonny get serious with a girl while still suffering from the injury older brother Adam caused him in the last season. Meanwhile, Mum has to pretend that Grandmother has died.

Starring Tamsin Greig (Black Books, Episodes), Simon Bird (The Inbetweeners), Tom Rosenthal (Plebs) and Mark Heap (Green Wing).
