He very nearly had a bridge named after him of late but for those of you who aren't familiar with Frank Duff and the Legion of Mary, this TG4 documentary will be a bit of an eye opener. It tells the tale of an ordinary man (he's described as a 'quiet civil servant') who brought a small group of lay people together in Dublin back in 1921. That small group of like-minded Catholics soon grew and eventually expanded to become one of the largest Catholic lay organisations in the world.
