This movie has pretty much reached classic status at this stage, hasn't it just? Tom Hanks nabbed an Oscar for his portrayal of the simple soul Forrest Gump, a mere year after he won one for Philadelphia. He could do no wrong back then and still can't really. We'll assume most of you will be re-watching this for the 25th time or so, but for those that haven't seen it yet, it follows one man's way through life and the series of adventures he accidentally finds himself on; from becoming an American football star, Vietnam veteran, table tennis champion and millionaire businessman. No matter what he does though, the only thing that really matters to him is the lovely Jinnnnny (played by House of Cards Robin Wright).
