While some of the remotest parts of the world experience extreme weather, such weather can also transform areas into natural beauties. People living in these regions have managed not only to survive but to thrive there. Thus this documentary series explores the question of how do people live in these isolated and spectacular places?
The show is presented by former royal marine Arthur Williams. So far this series, Arthur has flown to the frozen wastes of Siberia and the hazardous islands of the South Pacific. In this episode, Arthur will explore desert, mountainous and jungle regions of Peru, and learn from the people there about living in the country’s extreme landscapes.
