In the final episode the families must return to their homes after their time in Kerry taking part in activities and therapy. Anxiety looms high for some while others are leaving with new found hope. Now back in their own environments, how are they faring with putting into practice what they learned while they were away? At home, we see how the families are surviving back in the humdrum of everyday life. They tell us how they are able (or unable) to hold onto the vital tips they learned from David when away in Kerry. We also see David continue with his therapeutic work with each of them, as there are bumps along the way. He strives to keep them on a steady path to support their efforts in building a better family life. Five months on from their week in Kerry, David catches up with each family and we learn how they found the over-all experience and whether they feel it helped in any way.
