If there's one thing we know about mental health issues, it's that there's still no end of stigma attached to 'em. That's why it's so important t make documentaries like this one, which takes us to the heart of The McGuinness Unit in Manchester. It's one of the largest teenage mental health inpatient units in the country, caring for adolescents with eating disorders or psychosis, who self-harm or are suicidal. Over the course of the year we'll be meeting just a few of the young people, and discovering that they aren't so different from their peers.
