The Winter Olympics are just around the corner, so historian Dan Snow takes the opportunity to look back at the last 90 years of the event. He particularly focuses in on the horrendous period of Nazi Germany, as well as the tense rivalry between East and West during the Cold War. He also talks to ice-skaters Torvill and Dean about their famous gold medal back in Sarajevo in 1984. I wonder will he speak to that Jamaican bobsleigh team that did so well under John Candy's direction in the nineties? Oh no wait... not real life, never mind.
