John Creedon is back for another travel series and this time the Cork man is taking himself for a trip down the Shannon as he travels the length of Ireland's longest river (360km) which flows through 12 counties. He kicks things off in Co Cavan, where he meets scientists attempting to find the true source of the river. He also visits the Arigna Mines on the shores of Lough Allen, meets a group of divers investigating a sunken ship on the bottom of Lough Ree, and joins wildlife enthusiasts listening for birdsong.
