Comedy Lab, a unique televisual experiment which unearths the comedy stars of tomorrow, is now in its eleventh year and part of Channel 4's Generation Next season. This established series has previously uncovered talent including Peter Kay, Jimmy Carr, Mitchell and Webb, and Russell Brand. This year's line-up showcases yet more potential comedy stars of the future. In the first of the six programmes, adolescent comedic actors take on the world of adults in a unique comedy sketch show starring Will Poulter (Son of Rambow), Jack Harries and a host of rising stars. Kids School of Comedy features a range of characters from a profane receptionist, a cross-dressing Eastern European plumber, and a sexually repressed couple from the 1930s, to an emotionally inadequate policeman. Expect music, mirth and some naughty words. Speaking of the risque; RTE2 are giving season one of Dirty Sexy Money a whirl at 11.25pm.
