Ahead of this Friday's release of The Damned United, the film based on the novel by David Peace and starring Michael (I love biopics, me) Sheen, Pete Postlethwaite narrates a documentary looking at the life and legacy of Brian Clough. The programme includes interviews with his widow Barbara and son Nigel, as well as his friends and footballers who played under him, as it traces his managerial career at Derby County, his notoriously brief stay at Leeds United (the subject of the film and book) through to his European success at Nottingham Forest. Archive footage includes the debate filmed just after his sacking as Leeds manager, where he came face to face with Don Revie. If the rugger is more your thing, there's a Grand Slam Special on BBC2 at 10.45pm. Stephen Watson is joined by Eddie O'Sullivan and David Humphreys to review our crowning Six Nations championship match against Wales at the Millennium Stadium. Featuring interviews with players and coach Declan Kidney.
