For those of us who have seen the 60's film starring Elizabeth Taylor, there is a certain air of the glamorous about the Egyptian queen. Not so according to Neil Oliver, who reveals her to have been a bit of a callous sort, who may very well have coined the phrase "ice-queen". Evidently, Cleo was a bit of a murdering wench, who would off her own siblings when it came to retaining her power - something which predates Eastenders by almost 2000 years. According to the press release, it's based on new and exclusive forensic evidence, and reveals a darker and more ruthless side to the Queen of Egypt, traditionally mythologised for her beauty, her love affairs with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, and, finally, her suicide.
