Harrison Ford and Willem Dafoe star in this somewhat bland adaptation of Tom Clancy's narco-espionage thriller. CIA analyst Jack Ryan is set down to Colombia to assess the situation and get a read on it, but those damn dirty scallwaygs in the Colombian Cartels aren't just going to sit back and let America ride roughshod over them. All told, Clear And Present Danger is a bit daft and there's definitely some real 'Murica! moments in it, but it's worth it for Willem Dafoe being a Special Forces-type badass in it.
