Boyhood as a TV series… Child of Our Time returns to BBC. Professor Robert Winston and Professor Tanya Byron follow the development of 25 children born in the year 2000. As we are fascinated by this generation of millennials now more than ever, it seems like the right time to revisit the project, which is planned to continue until 2020. This second half of the two-part series looks at the digital lives of today’s teens, examining their phone use and the impact of constant connectivity on friendship, sleep and anxiety. It asks how 16 year-olds cope with life’s challenges and build towards the future.
