A new series of the hit cooking show returns, and apparently cooking doesn't get any more difficult than this, which professional chefs the world over will be glad to know, we're sure. Former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, Chesney Hawkes, TV presenter Yvette Fielding and actresses Sheree Murphy and Patricia Potter are up first this week as they attempt to make a meal out of pear, chocolate, chicken wings and pork, with the results to be judged by John Torode and Gregg Wallace. They'll also head back to Masterchef HQ to whip up a two-course meal of their choosing, and then someone will be sent back home, possibly to their own kitchen where no one has to look at them cook. The stakes are high, but the steaks should be medium or medium rare.
