A brand new series of the crime docudrama, Cear t agus Coi r will be screened on TG4 following the success of last year's series. Once again, in a chilling reminder of times past, Series 4 explores a further six cases of execution by the Irish State, unveiling the truth behind the extraordinary crimes that led six young men to their deaths. In the aftermath of the Civil War, Co. Louth is regarded as one of the areas of the country that is still in a general state of lawlessness, with cattle rustling one of the main problems. On February 27th, 1924, a notice is put up at the fair in Ardee for a £100 reward for the capture of the thieves who stole a herd of cattle from a nearby ranch.
