Burns Night, for those that don't know, is the annual Scottish celebration of the country's most famous poet, Robert Burns, who was born on January 25, 1759. His most famous work, of course, being the New Year's Eve song Auld Lang Syne. The day will be marked by the BBC with a live celebration from Belfast's Waterfront Hall which will feature Scottish folk singer Emily Smith who is joined by local artists and accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra.
