We're overlooking the fact that it's a repeat, for its subject matter tonight happens to be one of our favourite repeated shows - Father Ted. It'll also look at the success Irish comedy talent has had on British TV in general. This, of course, means it will heavily feature the talents of Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews, who left Ireland for London in 1990. Following the success of Father Ted, Linehan went on to create another hit sitcom, Black Books, which starred Dylan Moran. These preceded an exodus to England of the best and brightest of the Irish scene, including Dara O'Briain and Patrick Kielty, who both went on to front successful shows. Colm Meaney presents in a typically stern manner.
