Woody Allen's much lauded Blue Jasmine features a widely acclaimed Oscar winning performance by Cate Blanchett, who plays the lead role as housewife Jasmine, who was at one point wealthy and famous in New York society, but now is left broke and homeless. She is forced to move to San Francisco to live with her sister Ginger and her boyfriend Chili in their small apartment to try and put her life back together. It may sound like a simple enough story, but with Woody Allen at the helm, it becomes so much more than that.
