Self-harm is spiralling across the globe. Over in the UK, It is estimated that two teenagers in every classroom have been driven by depression or anxiety to hurt themselves. In this moving and sometimes disturbing film, actress/writer/comedienne Meera Syal examines the rising levels of self-harm. Along the way she meets victims and hears about the reasons that can lead a person to take such drastic action, as well as asking how parents are able to protect their children from abusing themselves.
